AAP Rhodes

With the shift in the way the Australian Media work, AAP engaged I+D to redesign their head office in Rhodes. To create a more collaborative and technical environment for employees to work, I+D worked closely with the staff to develop their objectives and translate into the overall spatial planning and design.

New central hubs were created to encourage cross-department engagement, a media room, executive offices, meeting rooms, joinery, bespoke furniture and staff kitchens. Custom designed workstations, along with new construction for data management feature throughout the space.

As a nod to the AAP’s corporate colour, blue, and connection to the community, each breakout space and meeting room has been named after Sydney’s famous beaches. Pops of yellow, aqua and blue have been incorporated into the carpet and bespoke furniture to compliment the design.
