Falcon Lodge

Falcon Lodge in North Sydney provides boutique style medium and long term accommodation close to the CBD and Royal North Shore Hospital. This project is a major refurbishment and reconfiguration of four existing federation homes. The 87 accommodation rooms needed to be reconsidered to ensure the best functionality. Due to the nature of the heritage-listed buildings, no two rooms will be alike, so a unique and economical joinery plan will work hard in each room configuration. The addition of private ensuites has created self-contained units, ensuring resident privacy and security. 

The buildings are connected via covered walkways to communal spaces and kitchens, creating a village-like atmosphere. Complete with outdoor seating and a large, landscaped BBQ area with generous storage for bikes and large items, this space will provide a sense of community for all residents.
