Kilbride Nursing Home

In transforming an out-dated 109-bed facility into a state of the art aged care living environment we adopted a comprehensive new approach to this project. Utilising existing structures wherever possible as the platform for the new structure we added 95 beds into a mix of Low Care, High Care and Dementia areas.

Two new accommodation wings provide a seamless flow from the rooms to modern, friendly communal dining and relaxation areas and an elegant outdoor expanse that wraps around the buildings edges to capture the extensive views on offer in a facility that incorporates features that maximise the efficiency and efficacy for staff as well as residence well being and comfort.

Our design innovation has been recognised and rewarded with a Leading Age Services Australia (LASA) Building Award. It was also a finalist in the Property Council of Australia’s (PCA) Innovation and Excellence Awards for Best Seniors Living for 2013, and UDIA Awards for Excellence submission 2013.
