Lindfield Gardens Leisure Centre

The project has beautifully revitalised a two-story leisure centre within a seniors living complex, transforming it into a modern and inviting hub. The once outdated space, with its shadowy entry and uninviting landscaping, has been reimagined to create a warm and engaging atmosphere.

Key enhancements included removing select internal walls to improve flow and connectivity. The bar and tea station were thoughtfully combined and expanded into a spacious communal kitchen that seamlessly integrates with the lounge and a new café seating area. A previously under utilised billiards room has been transformed into a charming community cinema, complete with acoustic enhancements that ensure an exceptional viewing experience in a cozy setting. This acoustic strategy also enhances the lounge area, creating a pleasant environment for socialising.

The revitalized centre now accommodates events of all sizes, offering a sophisticated yet homely atmosphere. Notable upgrades include a modern community library, a beauty salon, and a versatile meeting room that doubles as a private dining space.

The rear terrace has been refreshed with an inviting undercover barbeque area and a boules field, providing a versatile outdoor space for various gatherings. This renovation harmonises with the welcoming front entry and porte-cochère, featuring thoughtfully designed landscaping that showcases sculptural native Australian flora.

Overall, this renovation not only enhances functionality but also fosters a vibrant and engaging environment for senior residents, enriching their community experience.
