RSL LifeCare / TSA Management

RSL LifeCare’s Anzac Village site at Narrabeen consists a variety of different housing options that have evolved over many decades. Today, many of these buildings have reached their use-by date in regards to building efficiency and no longer meet resident requirements.

The identified area for revitalisation is the Mouquet Farm area due to its proximity to the Gallipoli Building which is the community heart of Anzac Village.

Our proposal consists of 86 new independent living units (ILUs) split over five buildings all connected by a landscaped, level podium. Below the podium are two levels of basement parking accommodating 145 car spaces for residents and additional parking for visitors.

The main building within Mouquet Farm consists of six storeys and is located on a central axis that connects and ‘talks to’ the newer Gallipoli building. The podium also connects through the site to other residential buildings behind it and will create a new vibrant gathering place for residents whilst allowing direct and level access between the buildings.

Sitting atop the main Mouquet Farm building is a large pool and additional public community area reached by an external glass elevator designed to be a beacon for residents and visitors to the pool area. This rooftop pool area also features amazing district and ocean views.

The smaller three-storey perimeter buildings step down in scale from the central building to match the size of the existing buildings within the Village.

The open spaces between the new buildings creates vistas and connections through to the beautiful Narrabeen Lake catchment area that surrounds the entire Village. These landscape spaces help break down the building forms and create smaller usable outdoor community spaces for residents to use. Landscaping is prominent and is used extensively to create an ecological environment that complements and respects the unique lakeside environment that Anzac Village enjoys.

The apartments are generous in size and are designed to accommodate residents with mobility constraints. The luxurious finishes and high standards of interior design will appeal to the new, discerning generation of residents seeking a community-based village environment in which to live.
